A Heli-Lynx-modified Eurocopter AS 355FX2R recently passed 5,000 hours time in service with the Special Anti-Crime Unit of Trinidad and Tobago.  The Heli-Lynx STC conversion replaces the standard helicopter’s engines, electrical system, instrument panel and trim cables. It also increases horsepower, fuel capacity, endurance and useful load. The company has sold 15 conversions to date.  Heli-Lynx is displaying a recently refurbished 355FX2R at its Heli-Expo booth (No. 762). The helicopter features a Sagem dual-display glass cockpit, integrated into the helicopter by Vector Aerospace (Booth No. 2922). It is the first glass-cockpit display installed in a Heli-Lynx AS 355FX conversion.  Heli-Lynx also announced the appointment of a new customer service director, Hoss Golanbari, who joins the firm from Abitibi Helicopters, and the addition of two more customer service agents.
