BBA Aviation and its engine repair and overhaul (ERO) companies are at Booth No. 2310 publicizing their array of facilities and capabilities, both in the U.S. and abroad. Its operations include Dallas Airmotive, with regional turbine centers (RTC) in Phoenix; Dayton, Ohio; and, beginning this spring, at Dallas Love Field. Other BBA ERO activities are conducted by Premier Turbines at Neosho, Mo., and H+S Aviation, Portsmouth, England, both of which are fully equipped for complete turbine engine overhaul, as well as module overhaul, repair and exchange.
BBA also recently announced that Dallas Airmotive is adding Rolls-Royce Model 250 ERO services at Love Field through its soon-to-be-activated RTC in Hangar C. Hugh McElroy, BBA Aviation president of ERO, said the company chose Dallas for the newest RTC because of its central location and a high level of local activity with two of the world’s largest helicopter OEMs located within 20 miles. He noted, “We’ll be adding other helicopter engines to our Dallas-Fort Worth area offerings in the near future.”
In addition to servicing the Rolls-Royce Model 250 family, BBA Aviation’s component turbine ERO companies service, supply, repair and overhaul the Rolls-Royce Spey and Tay; Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6T TwinPac, PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW300, PW500 and PW901 APU; the GE CT7-2, -8, CF34, J85 and T700; Hamilton Sundstrand T40-1 APU; and Honeywell’s TFE731, CFE738, ALF502L and Model 36 and 331 series APUs.
