Temsco Helicopters, one of Alaska’s largest operators, has chosen British Columbia-based Latitude Technologies (Booth No. 3235) to provide voice and flight-following satcom equipment and services for its fleet of more than 50 helicopters. The Latitude SkyNode S220-021 device, with two-way Iridium data communication capability, will support Temsco’s construction, pipeline, exploration, SAR and EMS operations from five Alaska bases. In addition to the SkyNode airborne hardware, Latitude will provide Temsco with satellite airtime and data services with secure network interface to and transfer from Latitude’s location and data management system.
