Freedom Aero Service, a new repair station founded by former Weco Aerospace Systems employees, received FAA certification on January 29. Freedom Aero offers helicopter and business jet electrical and electronic component and instrument repair and overhaul. The company plans to move to Sacramento-McClellan Airpark, where Freedom Aero has leased a 24,000-sq-ft former military repair facility.
