Chidiac Joins StandardAero as VP of Biz Development
Newly appointed StandardAero vice president of business development for business aviation Claude Chidiac wants his new employer to offer the best customer

Newly appointed StandardAero vice president of business development for business aviation Claude Chidiac wants his new employer to offer the best customer service possible. “The ultimate goal is to make the execution flawless and to get StandardAero to be the number-one [service provider] as far as customers are concerned,” Chidiac said. Achieving this requires completing customer work perfectly and ahead of schedule, he added, and he plans to apply “a program-management approach to going after opportunities” at Standard Aero. Before joining StandardAero, Chidiac worked at Grob Aerospace’s U.S. headquarters in Portsmouth, N.H., as managing director, but Grob’s recent insolvency has led to a halt in development of the composite Grob SPn utility jet. Chidiac was program management office vice president at Bombardier Aerospace before moving to Grob. He is a pilot and holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University.
