Aero Toy Store brought two custom-finished new helicopters to Heli-Expo to highlight the company’s growing helicopter sales capability. On display at its booth (No. 2859) is a new AgustaWestland AW139 VIP equipped with the Sagem ICDS-10 multifunction display and ACi’s Cocoon noise-reduction wall panel system. The Cocoon system minimizes noise and vibration by attaching cabin furnishings to the airframe using sound/vibration isolator mounts.

Also at the booth is a first-edition Pininfarina-designed A109 Power Elite featuring all carbon-fiber finishing on the roof and wall panels.

The AW139 VIP is configured for nine passengers, with a rear-facing four-place divan, two forward-facing seats and removable three-place forward-facing jump seats. Other furnishings include two 15-inch LCDs with Airshow moving-map, two-zone climate control, CD, DVD, satellite radio and iPod capability and external cameras. Delivery is expected in May.

Aero Toy Store continues to purchase new rotorcraft for resale around the world and said it plans to offer a Bell/Agusta BA609 when it enters service.

Demand is growing for new helicopters, according to Aero Toy Store chairman Steven McMillan. “Aero Toy Store saw very early on the growing demand for business and private helicopters, especially in Europe and Asia,” he said. The company’s helicopter inventory will help buyers take delivery sooner because global demand is causing short supply, he added.
