Growing East Coast FBO chain SheltAir Aviation ervices opened a new FBO–the chain’s fifth N.Y.

Growing East Coast FBO chain SheltAir Aviation ervices opened a new FBO–the chain’s fifth N.Y. facility–at Plattsburgh International Airport in New York on August 1. Formerly an Air Force base, the Plattsburgh Airport has an 11,750-foot runway and 240 acres of concrete ramp space. It is also served by airlines. SheltAir’s new facilities include pilot lounge, snooze rooms, flight-planning/weather room, a modern passenger terminal, wireless Internet access, crew cars, Hertz rental cars and complimentary refreshments. The opening of the Plattsburgh FBO brings the SheltAir chain total to 11 locations.
