The board of directors of Brazilian jet manufacturer Embraer has appointed Frederico Fleury Curado president and CEO.

The board of directors of Brazilian jet manufacturer Embraer has appointed Frederico Fleury Curado president and CEO. Mauro Kern Jr. will replace Curado as executive v-p of the airline market. Antonio Julio Franco and Flavio Rimoli were named executive v-p of organizational development and executive v-p, legal counsel, respectively.

Greenville, S.C.-based Stevens Aviation has promoted Neal McGrail to COO. He has served as CFO for the past four years.

William Weaver has been named president of PATS Aircraft, a Boeing service
center. He also serves as president of Hollingsead International.

Eclipse Aviation named J. Mark Borseth senior v-p and CFO. He most recently served as v-p of global business processes at 3M.

NBAA has promoted Mike Nichols to v-p, operations, education and economics; Jo Damato to director of operations and educational development; Ernie Stellings to manager of the general aviation desk at the FAA ATC Command Center; and Sue Ashley to assistant manager at the general aviation desk.

Mary Armstrong, a 23-year veteran of Boeing, has been named v-p of environment, health and safety. Tim Cops, v-p of the Shared Services Group, will replace Armstrong as president.

Airbus named Charles Champion executive v-p of customer services. He most recently served as head of the A380 program.

Dominique Spragg
was named v-p of manufacturing at Viking Air. He was previously president of consulting firm Innovia Solutions.

Era named Bill Colligan v-p and general manager of its airport operations solutions group. Colligan was president and COO of CSSI, a systems engineering company, for the last six years.

Universal Weather & Aviation announced the following appointments: Jeff Briand, senior v-p of operations; Pete Lewis, v-p of Trip Support Services operations; Greg Cox, v-p of UVair; Adolfo Aragon, v-p of UVGlobal Network.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics appointed Rich Weatherford vice president of operations for the electronic group. Crane also named Clarence Au-Young v-p of landing systems. He was previously director of program management for landing systems and cabin solutions.

Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets, has named Kristin Krueger v-p for sales.

Austin Shontz has been named v-p of Savannah, Ga., operations for Gulfstream Aerospace. He most recently served as director of operations at the Long Beach, Calif. facility. In addition, Mike Cerny has been named director of engineering and quality and Greg Laabs has been named director of service at the Appleton, Wis. business jet completions and service facility.

Tulsa, Okla.-based BizJet International has appointed Wendy Wordon its new FBO manager. She was previously director of business development for Jetsource Charter.

Hawker Beechcraft
has appointed Dan Weatherford chief pilot of Hawker sales demonstration and Peter Kennedy chief pilot for Beechcraft sales demonstration.

Chris Pratt has been promoted to director of marketing and strategic planning at BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul. He most recently served as director of marketing.

Dallas Airmotive named Rick Burgess director of materials and systems. He has served as IT director since 2005. Alton Johnson was named general manager of the company’s Premier Turbines division. Dan Avicola was named general manager of the Lafayette, La. component repair facility.

Lisa Wilson was named director of Action Aviation’s new charter division.

Boulder, Colo.-based J. Mesinger Corporate Jet Sales named Tim Thomas second technical director. He was most recently manager of maintenance for Bombardier Pre-owned Aircraft.

Satellite Beach, Fla.-based Satcom Direct named Wayne Hunsdorfer director of corporate accounts. He was previously the manager of sales and business development for major mod centers at Honeywell.

Angus Williamson has joined AWAS aircraft lessors as head of risk management. He was previously head of global risk and asset investment at AerCap.

Fred McOmber Jr. joined Key Air as its new manager of ground training. He was previously director of aviation for Unisys and director of operations for Conn.Air Service.

Maureen Cole has joined Mariah Fuels in the marketing and sales department. She previously worked for Galaxy Aviation.

AirResource Group, an aviation sales management and consultant firm, opened in Little Rock, Ark., with Carl Finch as its president. The staff includes Walter Smiley, Greg Feltus and Curt Bradbury, investors and partners; Bryan Jeffrey, investor; and Cheri McKelvey, manager of client relations, aircraft sales and acquisitions.
