The new Start Pac Mini Power Supply on display at Heli-Expo Booth No. 1844 is a compact portable external electrical power unit designed to energize entire aircraft electrical systems with engines off and provide engine starting power of up to 50 amperes.

vailable in 12- and 24-volt versions, the unit has a maximum 25-amp output for 12-volt systems and 50 for 24-volt systems, adequate for most light aircraft. Voltage output is 28.5/ 14.2V, the same as when the aircraft is under ship’s power. It is said to be ideal for powering up aircraft with glass cockpits. and can be used to provide electrical power for GPS receiver programming and electrical maintenance, without using the onboard aircraft battery.
