Former corporate flight department manager Robert Sumwalt has been appointed NTSB vice chairman, and acting chairman Mark Rosenker has been named chairman of the Safety Board.
Tom Aniello was named v-p of marketing at Cessna. Aniello, who was previously v-p and chief marketing officer at Pilatus, replaces Phil Michel, who is retiring after 31 years at Cessna. Mike Heanggi is serving as manager of marketing programs at Pilatus.
Glenn Cothran is now general manager of Stevens Aviation’s Greenville-Spartanburg location. He was most recently general manager of the company’s Nashville, Tenn., facility. Cothran replaces Don Doty, who is transferring to the Pensacola, Fla., facility to fill the position of depot projects manager.
Greg Kinsella has been appointed general manager of FlightWorks’ Manassas, Va., executive terminal and hangar. Kinsella was most recently the company’s mid-Atlantic regional sales manager.
Greg McCurley was promoted to v-p of Hawker resale at Raytheon Aircraft. He was previously regional sales director.
Steve Lee was promoted to COO of Signature Flight Support. He was most recently the company’s CFO and has also held other roles, including v-p of finance, marketing and business development.
Scott Bridge is the new general manager at Landmark Aviation’s Albany, Ga. FBO. He was previously general manager at Landmark’s Lakeland, Fla. FBO.
At Cutter Aviation, Roger McKay is now regional sales manager of aircraft services.
Alpharetta, Ga.-based Flight Display Systems has hired Gina Moore as southeast regional sales manager and Robert Pollard as mechanical engineer.
NBAA named Robert Quinn regional representative for the southern region. He was previously a Gulfstream and Hawker captain at TAG Aviation.
Brian Redondo was named shop manager for Duncan Aviation’s satellite location in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was most recently the avionics manager for Presidential Aviation in Fort Lauderdale.
Waukegan, Ill.-based DB Aviation named Andy Schweickert regional manager of sales and marketing. He was most recently manager of regional forums and static
displays for NBAA.
Englewood, Colo.-based Mayo Aviation named Chris Cumberland director of charter sales and managed aircraft. He was most recently responsible for startup and development of two separate charter companies.
Brad Kraft was promoted to director of completion engineering for Gulfstream’s Dallas facility. He was most recently senior manager for final phase.
David Gee was named director of engineering for Seattle-based Raisbeck Engineering. He previously served as v-p of engineering and v-p of manufacturing for Sino Swearingen Aircraft in San Antonio and operated a consulting company.
Benjamin Burton joined FlightSafety International as director of compliance and regulatory affairs based in Washington, D.C. Burton joins the company from America West Airlines, where he was senior director of safety and compliance. He was also employed by the FAA for 13 years as manager of the general aviation and commercial branch in Washington, D.C.
P.J. Maher joined Fairfax, Va.-based Sharp Details to the newly created position of operations manager.
