Under the terms of a new agreement Duncan Aviation will provide sales and service for Securaplane Technologies’ emergency batteries. The agreement builds on a previous deal for Duncan to provide sales and service on the Hawker pure lead SLA batteries. According to a Duncan Aviation spokesman, many of the airframes the company services have Securaplane emergency batteries installed.

Securaplane Technologies’ emergency batteries are sealed lead-acid with a battery level test and built-in precision charging system. Battery maintenance is reduced because there is no need to deep cycle or remove it from the aircraft for a capacity check.
