Kait Wilson joined AIN in 2022 as a Copy/Social Media Editor after working as a Marketing Specialist and managing the social media channels of a top aircraft brokerage. She has a background in photojournalism and design and is passionate about aviation. Wilson serves on her local airport advisory board and has worked on volunteer projects with the 99s organization of women pilots and the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum while pursuing her pilot&#039;s license.
While at AIN, Wilson is responsible for reading editorial copy that flows through the news desk for Ainonline, AINalerts, and the AIN monthly magazine. She also writes and reports for AINalerts, and contributes the People in Aviation column for the monthly print magazine.

The Corporate Aircraft Association (CAA) named&nbsp;David Scobey&nbsp;president and CEO, while&nbsp;P.J. Clark, who has been CAA's&nbsp;acting president for the last six months, was promoted to COO. Scobey retired as president and CEO of AT&amp;T Southeast and&nbsp;also served for six years as the chairman of the board of Lipscomb University, was the past chairman of the TBM Owners and Pilots Association, and served on the board of CAA for the last two years.

 


Burrell Aviation hired&nbsp;John Carver&nbsp;to serve as CEO. Carver’s previous experience includes being deputy executive director of special projects at Los Angeles World Airports from 2016 to 2020 and&nbsp;leading the Land Optimization and Airport Resiliency Task Forces. He also served&nbsp;as executive director of VICC USA. In his new role, he will head Burrell's efforts to expand its market position within the North American airport system.&nbsp;

 


JetHQ has promoted&nbsp;David Coppock&nbsp;to president—North America, after previously serving as v-p&nbsp;of sales. Also joining JetHQ and reporting to Coppock is&nbsp;Sonya Sheldon,&nbsp;who will serve as v-p of sales—East Coast, and&nbsp;Cole White&nbsp;as v-p—Central U.S. Coppock joined the company after holding leadership roles with manufacturers Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Hawker Beechcraft, as well as in business development at Mente Group. Sheldon has spent her entire career in aviation, holding roles as a corporate pilot,&nbsp;flight test engineer at Gulfstream, and senior sales engineer, as well as working&nbsp;for a brokerage firm. White, an Army veteran and U.S.&nbsp;Military Academy graduate, also joined&nbsp;JetHQ from Mente Group, most recently serving as managing director.

 


Ty Dubay was hired by Skyservice Business Aviation as chief of staff and Qi Tang&nbsp;was appointed as CFO. Dubay has more than 20 years of global leadership and operational experience in aviation and automotive services, having previously held leadership positions with NetJets. Tang has more than 25 years of experience in finance and business leadership, most recently as CFO and senior v-p of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust.&nbsp;

 


Richard Koucheravy&nbsp;has been named as executive v-p of Vita Inclinata’s Aerospace Division. Koucheravy’s experience includes a 28-year military career, having previously served as Division Chief for Aviation in the U.S. Army Staff’s G8. He also has held business development leadership roles at UltiSat, Sikorsky, and Lockheed Martin.

 


Turbine Engine Specialists (TES) appointed Paul Goffredi as v-p and general manager of TES operations and Dave Rassett as v-p of sales. Goffredi joins TES after previously holding the role of president and COO at VSE Aviation as well as several senior positions held at the Killick Aerospace Group, Dallas Airmotive, StandardAero, and Aviall. Rassett was promoted within the company having previously managed TES operations over the last four years.

 


MAAS Aviation has appointed Malachy McEnroe&nbsp;as CFO. McEnroe has worked in finance and business for over 25 years having held senior finance roles at both GE and HNA and having served for seven years at TIP Trailer Services as global CFO.&nbsp;

 


Vincent Kavanagh was hired by Four Corners Aviation to serve as executive v-p and head of sales. Kavanagh joins Four Corners after being employed by Air Partner in various senior sales positions over the past eight years. He has also&nbsp;held sales management positions with VistaJet and NetJets Europe.

 


Kris Larkin has been hired as v-p and senior account executive for SterlingRisk Aviation. Larkin previously held the position of client service supervisor at Arthur J. Gallagher &amp; Company in the aviation practice division. Before that, she held positions with State Farm Insurance, Aviation Insurance Services of Illinois, and Near North Insurance Brokerage.

 


CMC Electronics has appointed Robert Kopersiewich as v-p of engineering. He succeeds Don Paolucci who is retiring after more than 40 years at the company. Kopersiewich's prior experience includes ten years in aerospace and defense at CAE and nearly five years in fintech at Morgan Stanley.

 


The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has added Katherine Nettrour as v-p of finance, Simone Perez as senior director of civil aviation, and Steven Jordan Tomaszewski as senior director of national security space. Nettrour has more than 15 years of experience specializing in accounting, operations, and treasury management. Perez previously served as a professional staff member on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. Tomaszewski joins AIA from The Aerospace Corporation where he provided technical advice to senior Department of Defense executives in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security.&nbsp;

 


Joshua&nbsp;Krotec, senior v-p at First Aviation Services, has been appointed by Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai to serve on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Aerospace Equipment. Krotec will represent the U.S. aeronautical repair station and parts manufacturing industries in the 2022-2026 charter term.

 


Bruce L. Marshall—executive vice president and general counsel at AIC Title Service—has been named as director of the board for the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association. Marshall has served the industry as an attorney for nearly 4 decades and also serves as chair of the National Aircraft Finance Association’s regulatory committee.

 


Kerry Keith, senior director of development at the Naples Airport Authority (NAA), has been elected as the 2022-2023 chairman of the Florida Airports Council (FAC). Keith has been a member of the FAC Board since 2015 and also serves as the chair of the Continuing Florida Aviation System Planning Process Statewide Steering Committee. Diane Cooper, NAA deputy executive director, was elected to serve as chair of the FAC Noise Abatement and Community Affairs Committee. Cooper has been a member of the committee since 2015 and continues to be an advocate for the community with regard to aircraft operations and noise. Barry Brown, NAA director of operations and maintenance, was also elected as vice chair of the FAC Facilities Committee.

 


CAE appointed Alan MacGibbon as chair of the board, succeeding John Manley who served as a director since 2008 and as chair since 2018. MacGibbon has been an independent director of CAE since 2015 and has served in roles including managing partner and chief executive as well as senior counsel of Deloitte LLP. Additionally, Elise Eberwein and Ayman Antoun were elected to the board as independent directors. Eberwein has more than&nbsp;35 years of commercial aviation experience, most recently serving as executive v-p of people, communications, and public affairs for American Airlines. Antoun has been general manager for IBM Americas since 2020.
