Professional Aircraft Accessories has begun construction of a 20,000-sq-ft expansion. The $2 million project is expected to be completed by next summer and will bring the company’s overall facility to 60,000 sq ft “We are bucking the economic trend,” Robert Bial, president of the Titusville, Fla.-based company, told AIN. “We were one of six companies Greenwich AeroGroup bought two years ago from Fairchild. We put together a good business plan that includes operations in business aviation, commercial aerospace and the military.
Bristow will build $10 million in new facilities and add 97 employees at its Florida flight school in Titusville. It will also build a new FBO facility there. Bristow operates the largest civilian helicopter school in the U.S.
Early this year the TIX Jet Center opened at Space Coast Regional Airport (TIX) in Titusville, Fla. A new terminal building is slated for construction beginning this spring, with TIX Jet Center to administer the municipally owned facility. TIX Jet Center’s current operation features a pilot lounge, weather-briefing area, catering, rental cars and shuttle service.
