AKKO has been in business more than a decade and is based at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. The company has performed interior work on more than 150 passenger and business jets, including Aeroflot and the airline’s VIP charter division, Aeroflot-Plus.

Compared with its presence at previous EBACE shows, the Russian business aviation contingent this year has grown to such an extent that it includes two industry associations and a significant cluster of exhibitors practically forming a separate Russian “street” in the exhibit hall.
Zhukovsky, Russia-based Myasishchev has received Russian AP-23 type certification for its M-101T business aircraft. The M-101T has a pressurized cabin and a single 760-shp Walter M601-22F turboprop driving on Avia V-510 propeller.
Hawker 700, Kharkov, Ukraine, Jan. 2, 2006–The twinjet (Aruba registration P4-AOD) crashed into a frozen lake on approach to Kharkov Airport at 11:16 a.m., approximately one hour after takeoff from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. All three crewmembers aboard were killed. The Hawker 700 was reportedly operated by Evolga. It was on a positioning flight to pick up passengers.
