An Inter Iles Air Embraer EMB-120ER Brasilia crashed into the Indian Ocean on November 27 shortly after takeoff from Moroni’s Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport (FMCH) in the Comoros Islands. All 25 people on board the aircraft survived when hit came down in the water approximately 3.5 miles north of the airport. Two people received minor injuries in the accident.

A Yemenia (Yemen Airways) Airbus A310-300 crashed into the Indian Ocean, just north of the Comoros Islands, shortly after 1:50 a.m. local time, Airbus confirmed this morning. Search crews reportedly have found a single survivor–a small child–as well as several bodies.
