Paris Le Bourget FBO and executive charter firm Aero Services has been bought by Portuguese general aviation group Omni Aviacão e Tecnologia. The deal was concluded on April 2, with Omni paying an undisclosed sum to French entertainment group Vivendi, which was the controlling shareholder in Aero Services.

Saab Aircraft Leasing (SAL) recently delivered the first Saab 2000 to Omni Aviação e Tecnologia of Portugal. The 50-seat aircraft entered service February 29 on an aircraft crew and maintenance insurance (ACMI) contract between Omni and PGA Portugalia Airlines, connecting the Spanish city of Bilbao with Lisbon and Oporto in Portugal.

Bombardier has appointed Lisbon-based Omni Aviacao and its French subsidiary, Omni Aero Services, exclusive sales representatives for the Learjet line of executive aircraft in France and Portugal.

Omni is an aircraft charter and services company headed by Jose Miguel da Costa, who acquired Aero Services, the largest business aircraft operator in France.
