Within the group is the Aviation Services division (Booth 1019), which effectively parents the commercial operations, including MRO and aircraft charter.
Marshall Aerospace has entered the pre-owned aircraft sales sector and is expanding its charter activities as part of a relaunch of its business aviation division. The Cambridge, UK-based group is combining its existing Marshall Business Aviation handling and maintenance subsidiary and Marshall Executive Aviation charter operator with the new sales unit in a bid to create a one-stop bizav services brand called Jetability. This also encompasses its concierge support and limousine services.

Lockheed Martin signed an agreement with Marshall Aerospace this week that makes the Cambridge, UK-based company the first in the world to be authorized to install C-130 center wing boxes. The CWB is the main load-bearing component in the C-130 airframe and is the one that largely determines the aircraft’s service life. Therefore, replacing the CWB can give the Hercules many years more life.
Marshall Aerospace took steps to boost the future of its core business: C-130 Hercules maintenance and support. The Cambridge, UK-based company will partner with Lockheed Martin in the OEM’s offer to provide enhanced and performance-based sustainment solutions to the air forces of Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. Marshall Aerospace has previously overhauled and modifies C-130s for these countries.
Marshall Aerospace has completed development of an avionics upgrade for the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) fleet of nine Lockheed Tristar tanker-transports. The work was designed to avoid obsolescence problems that now affect these aging aircraft, and to provide compliance with the latest requirements for flying in civil airspace, such as CNS/ATM.
Marshall Aerospace has created an Australian subsidiary to spearhead a drive for more business in the Asia-Pacific region. The British company is best known as a world-leading C-130 airframer and has provided engineering services to support the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-130 fleet at Richmond airbase for many years. It is exhibiting at the Singapore Airshow as part of Team Australia (Stand H65).
Marshall Aerospace (Booth No. 1449) is designing and building nacelles for the new HondaJet aircraft under a contract placed in August, but not announced until late last year. The Cambridge, UK-based company is due to deliver the first five sets of nacelles to HondaJet’s headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina, next month.
The new Marshall Business Aviation Centre at Cambridge, UK, was officially opened on December 4. The £5 million facility combines a new executive terminal with two adjoining hangars that provide more than 50,000 sq feet of space for aircraft maintenance.
Marshall Aerospace, in response to what it described as “the changing nature of the corporate market,” has restructured its corporate aviation activity by “ceasing work on Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft types to concentrate fully on Cessna Citation maintenance and support.” The UK-based facility had been a partner with Bombardier in doing green aircraft interior completion work on the Canadian company’s Global Express.
