Sixteen FBOs are joined together at the Eastern Aviation Fuels NBAA exhibit this year (Booth No. 6403) and all are participating in the new Shell Aviation AeroClass loyalty program. Eastern Aviation Fuels markets Shell-branded aviation fuels throughout the U.S.<o:p></o:p>
Shell Aviation (Booth No. 3259) is offering a new customer loyalty rewards program for purchasers of Shell-branded aviation gasoline and jet fuel at participating Shell Aviation FBOs around the country. The new Shell AeroClass program allows individuals or organizations to earn points based on fuel purchases, which can be redeemed for MasterCard gift cards.
Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) has announced the official launch of its customer loyalty program, Maintenance Plus.
In October, oil companies Chevron Global Aviation and Phillips 66 Aviation announced new rewards programs for fuel buyers, which allow flight operations to give the rewards to any employee instead of limiting rewards to pilots. Rewards in the new programs are merchandise cards and in Chevron’s case gas cards as well.
Chevron Global Aviation launched a fuel buyer reward program called FlyBuys that offers gas and merchandise gift cards as rewards. FlyBuys is Chevron’s first aviation reward program since the merger of Chevron and Texaco in 2001. Pilots can open their own FlyBuys account, or flight departments can pool cumulative points using one account and hand out rewards as gift cards to anyone in the organization.
Phillips 66 Aviation has launched a reward program for buyers of Phillips 66 fuel, with an added bonus of double rewards when buyers use their Phillips 66 Aviation credit card. The new WingPoints program is flexible in that rewards are in the form of debit or gift cards usable at dozens of retailers, and the rewards can be given to anyone in the fuel-buying company.
Chevron Global Aviation has launched a fuel buyer reward program called FlyBuys that offers free gas and merchandise gift cards to customers. Here at Booth No. 1200, Chevron and 30 affiliated FBOs are highlighting the FlyBuys program and signing up new members.
Executive Beechcraft’s three Kansas City area FBOs (owned by BBA Aviation) have joined Avfuel’s dealer network and will offer Avtrip reward points and contract fuel pricing to participating pilots. Avfuel also announced that Craig Air Center in Jacksonville, Fla., has become an Avfuel dealer, and participating customers can receive Avtrip points and Avfuel contract pricing.
In addition to payment at the point of purchase and by arrangement over the phone before departure of the flight, customers can now provide payment online at www.avfuel.com. At more than 400 participating locations in the U.S., Canada and the U.S., Avfuel cardholders will receive a discount by purchasing fuel via the Web site.
