World Fuel Services’ FlyBuys Rewards program offers incentives to schedulers, dispatchers and entire flight departments, not just pilots like other business and general aviation loyalty programs do.
World Fuel Services has expanded membership in the FlyBuys Rewards Program to the European business and general aviation market. As such, pilots, flight departments, crewmembers, schedulers and dispatchers in Europe can join the FlyBuys Rewards program to earn points and redeem them for rewards. In addition, participating World Fuel Services network FBOs and merchants in Europe can offer FlyBuys Rewards points as incentives. Rewards are earned when a FlyBuys member uses a linked Avcard, WFS Contract Fuel or BaseOps account.
Avfuel has bolstered its network of more than 600 branded FBOs with the addition of four new dealers: London City Airport Centre at London City Airport; Minot Aero Center in Minot, N.D.; Million Air Burbank in California; and CYHU H-18 in Montreal will now all offer the full range of Avfuel products, including contract fuel, the Avtrip rewards program and Avfuel’s Avplan flight support and trip planning services.
ATP Jet Center at Daytona Beach International Airport is the latest Signature Select affiliate FBO, Signature Flight Support announced today. Signature Select comprises independent FBOs that adhere to Signature’s systems, service and safety standards, as well as training, sales and marketing processes. Each member company maintains its independent brand with the addition of the Signature Select badge, the FBO chain said. Participating FBOs also offer the Signature Status and Signature TailWins customer loyalty and rewards programs.
UK-based ConnectJets this week at EBACE announced a loyalty program for jet-card customers who expect to fly a total of 25 hours or more in a year. Jet Card Europe starts at $6,006 per hour for very light jets, and ranges up to $7,458 for light jets and $9,900 for midsize jets. The card comes with several benefits, including guaranteed availability, no peak-day restrictions, no positioning costs, no monthly management fees, no extra fuel or airport surcharges and discounts on same-day return trips.
Signature Flight Support launched a new customer loyalty program and a fuel card this week at the NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference in San Diego. The Signature TailWins loyalty program rewards customers with points for fuel and handling purchases within the Signature network. Points can be used for products, services and experiences, or they can be donated to charity. Those using Signature’s new aviation card, which is underwritten by U.S. Bank and Multi Service Aviation, earn double points.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. today, executives from Shell Aviation will present a $5,000 donation check to the Corporate Angel Network (CAN) at Booth No. C10235. The amount represents the value of points donated by members of Shell’s AeroClass pilot loyalty program over the past year.
Shell Aviation Fuels has developed a new mobile electronics application to help members of its customer loyalty program manage their accounts. The AeroClass App helps pilots track points, view transactions, learn about FBO promotions and redeem points for gift cards. The app is free and is available from iTunes and the Android Market.
Eclipse 500 air-taxi firm Linear Air on Friday announced new benefits for frequent-flier customers from Boston Hanscom Field and Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y. The Concord, Mass.-based charter operator’s new “platinum service” program will be offered at no charge to customers who fly more than five trips from these airports.
With 735 FBOs pumping its products, aviation fuel provider Phillips 66 (Booth No. 2927) claims the title of number-one branded aviation fuel network in the U.S. Its current size is the result of four years of building tools and marketing programs aimed at helping the FBOs that sell Phillips 66 products to grow their businesses, according to the company.
