Pattonair has opened a European Hub in Derby, UK, where the Pattonair Group head office is located. It will serve as a central hub for all of the company’s European operations. Pattonair’s supply chain services include kitting, line feed, distribution, aftermarket and MRO, consultancy, reverse logistics, warehouse management and supplier management. Customers include large global aerospace OEMs and Tier 1, 2 and 3 manufacturers such as Rolls-Royce, Goodrich Actuation Systems and Parker Aerospace.
Construction is nearing completion on A J Walter Aviation’s 60-acre headquarters and logistics campus near London Gatwick Airport. The site will include a headquarters office and storage facilities for the company’s inventory of Airbus and Boeing components and consumables.
AAR has been selected by Airbus Military to provide off-wing repair management and logistics services. AAR Defense Systems & Logistics will manage the five-year programs. AAR will provide a single point of contact for the repair of components that Airbus Military previously outsourced to multiple vendors. The programs will focus primarily on support of the CASA C-212, CN-235 and C-295 but with scope to support other Airbus Military types.
AAR has been selected by Cobham Aviation Services UK to provide repair management and overhaul services in support of Cobham’s maintenance facility in Bournemouth, England. AAR’s Defense Systems & Logistics operating unit will manage the program. AAR will provide a single point of contact for the repair of components that Cobham previously serviced internally or outsourced to multiple vendors.
