AvSupport’s PartsLogistics aircraft parts sourcing system has a new feature that allows users to conduct batch searches. A batch can include more than 20 search items, and results are delivered in text file format. PartsLogistics also added an online forum where users can post available parts or parts needed and discuss industry issues or seek answers to questions.
Internet search engines
PartsBase.com has introduced a Web-based aircraft parts and services listing and locating program called AeroPages that the Boca Raton, Fla. company describes as the industry’s first “smart” aviation directory. Listing formats are on display at the PartsBase booth (No. 4626).
Aircraft Shopper Online (www.aso.com) introduced a feature last month that lets buyers search by region for aircraft listed for sale. In addition to the Americas, regions are provided in Europe, Asia, Australia, Oceana and Africa. Specific locations within these regions can be selected. To further narrow down the search area, users can click on a search radius within each location selected.
