StandardAero has received third-party certification for its environmental-management system (EMS) used at its 13 primary facilities in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Singapore and Australia. The EMS certification is in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 standard for environmental management systems.
Major aircraft and engine manufacturers have formed an organization called the International Aerospace Environment Group, chaired by Boeing, with the goal of establishing environmental guidelines for the aerospace supply chain.
Maintenance, repair and overhaul group StandardAero (Booth No. 370) claims to have shown strong leadership in reducing the environmental footprint of its business. The company has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for its part in the national environmental performance track green leadership program and is now operating under ISO 14001:2004 environmental management systems.
