The company can service TPE331-1 through -14 series engines. The fleet has accumulated more than 70 million hours of service and consists of more than 12,700 engines delivered.
The French government has selected an area to build what it calls a third airport to serve Paris, but the area is in Chaulnes, a distant 85 mi north of the capital. The new airport, which is expected to be operational in 2015, will ostensibly be served by an already planned high-speed rail link to Paris, and two existing highways.

From its base at Copenhagen’s Roskilde Airport, ExecuJet Scandinavia is the operating partner for Bombardier’s Flexjet Europe fractional aircraft ownership program. It is part of the Johannesburg, South Africa-based ExecuJet Aviation Group.
Million Air president and CEO Roger Woolsey and partner FlyingGroup celebrated the opening of the Million Air FBO at Paris Le Bourget Airport. FlyingGroup is a European charter/management and handling company with bases in Paris and Antwerp and will continue to operate its charter/management business at the new Million Air FBO at Le Bourget.
Evektor has begun prototype assembly of the EV-55 Outback, a nine- to 14-passenger unpressurized turboprop. The company submitted its application for a type certificate a year ago in a familiarization meeting between the certification team and regulatory authorities at the company’s facilities in Kunovice, Czech Republic.
Sloane Helicopters has received Part 145 approval for its new maintenance facility at Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. The facility is certified to deliver base maintenance for Robinson R22s and R44s. It can also perform line maintenance on Bell 206s and Agusta A119s and A109s. The 13,000-sq-ft hangar will serve operators in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Universal Weather & Aviation has said that it could take until the middle of next month before damage to its Paris Le Bourget FBO can be fully repaired. The facility suffered extensive fire and smoke damage during an overnight blaze on January 3, with the lounge areas being the worst affected.
