StandardAero Business Aviation has named Kevin Malutinok and Melissa Maddox, respectively, as the new vice presidents and general managers of the company’s Springfield, Ill. and Houston, Texas facilities. They will be responsible for the sales and operational performance of each of their businesses. Malutinok comes to StandardAero from Dassault Aircraft Services in Wilmington, Del., where he served as the site’s vice president and general manager.
Raymond Conner has been promoted to president and CEO at Boeing Commercial Airplanes; previously he was senior v-p of sales and customer support for commercial airplanes. He succeeds James Albaugh, who will retire in October.
Embraer Executive Jets has tapped Jay Beever, previously new product interior design manager at Gulfstream, as v-p of interior design.
Sir Ralph Robins, formerly CEO and executive chairman of Rolls-Royce, has been named non-executive chairman of UK-based global aviation services provider Gama Group.
Stéphane Mayer, most recently chairman and CEO of ATR, has joined French airframer Daher-Socata as its CEO. He served as the chairman and CEO of EADS Socata from 2003 to 2007.
American Eurocopter has named Anthony DiNota v-p of commercial sales, marketing and customer support. Previously he was president and COO of air medical service provider Omniflight Helicopters.
Hawker Beechcraft has made changes to its executive staff. Clive Prentiss, most recently director of business development for Marshall Aerospace, was named v-p and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations and global customer support.
Textron has promoted Scott Donnelly to president, in addition to his COO role. Richard Yates, the company’s senior v-p and controller, has been named acting CFO after the recent departure of executive v-p and CFO Ted French.
Hawker Beechcraft named Russ Meyer III the company’s director of new product development. Meyer, son of the former Cessna chairman, was most recently program manager for Cessna’s Citation Mustang program.
Boeing has named Ralph Boyce president of Boeing Southeast Asia. Boyce succeeds Douglas Miller, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems vice president and leader of the Boeing Singapore office, and Paul Walters, who led Boeing’s business activities in Southeast Asia. Miller and Walters are retiring. Boyce previously served as the U.S. ambassador to Thailand as a member of the U.S. Senior Foreign Service.
Mordechai (Moti) Boness was named president of Israel Aircraft Industries International, the company’s American subsidiary headquartered in New York. Boness replaced David Onn, who retired after a 47-year career with the company. Boness, previously corporate vice president and general manager of IAI’s commercial aircraft group, joined the company in 1966.
The board of directors of Brazilian jet manufacturer Embraer has appointed Frederico Fleury Curado president and CEO. Mauro Kern Jr. will replace Curado as executive v-p of the airline market. Antonio Julio Franco and Flavio Rimoli were named executive v-p of organizational development and executive v-p, legal counsel, respectively.
Sabreliner has announced the following personnel appointments: Ronnie Herman, senior v-p of operations; Gene Harbula, senior v-p of business development; Gene Findley, senior director of operations; Bernie Herkenhoff, senior director of the St. Genevieve operation; Gina Bey, senior manager for eastern region sales and service; and Beth Thomas, senior manager of international and western region sales and service.
