Dallas Airmotive is at Heli-Expo’06 (Booth No. 1687) publicizing the expansion of its Lafayette, La. component repair and exchange capabilities to include support of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT-6A/T, JT15D and PW300/PW500 turbine engines.

The big news from Pratt & Whitney Canada at HeliExpo’05 in Anaheim, Calif., was the announcement of the launch of the PW210S turboshaft engine program. Alain Bellemare, president of Pratt & Whitney Canada, told HAI Convention News that this year the company’s focus at Heli-Expo will be on current products, not new announcements.

Standard Aero has expanded its range of small gas turbine engine services with a five-year agreement covering PT6 engine work with Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions. The agreement includes material purchase arrangements, component repair services and engine teardown services. Standard Aero has offered a full range of overhaul, repair and component services for the PT6 since 1990.
