The cushions, custom fit for pilot-right, pilot-left, forward- and rear-facing passenger positions, are available in every upholstery style and color that Daher-Socata offers for its aircraft interiors.

Snap-on Industrial has developed a new line of toolboxes designed for rolling on rough ramps, over hangar tracks and back and forth to flight lines. The new Flight Line Roll Cabinet series come in five- or six-drawer configurations. The “Phantom Caster” wheels feature a kingpin-less design to prevent possible FOD and solid rubber wheels to absorb shock. The cabinet top includes a wraparound stainless-steel cap that excludes moisture and dirt. A keyless T-bar mechanism allows locking of drawers for movement without a key, also to prevent FOD.

List Components of Austria (Stand 165) has selected Ontario, Canada-based Flying Colours (Stand 1935) as its preferred completion center in North America for its stone flooring and countertops in all aircraft types. Flying Colours recently installed a List stone floor in a Bombardier Global 5000 and has been chosen to install a similar floor in a Bombardier Challenger 601.

Cabin interiors specialist Lantal is probably best known for its carpets and upholstery, but the Swiss company also has just launched its new Pneumatic Comfort System, which it says makes seats more passenger-friendly. The system’s pressure-adjustable cushions have been in service with Swiss International Airline’s business and first-class long-haul aircraft for the two years and are now available for more widespread use.

DeCrane Aircraft Seating has announced a patent on core technology around which a new line of lightweight 9-g and 16-g executive single and double passenger seats is being built for super-midsize and large business jets. The patent covers design of a new positive locking brake mechanism to control seat rotation that allows infinite swivel adjustment. At the same time, it prevents uncommanded rotation.
