Argus launched a new Web-based aircraft tracking system for FBOs last month. Dubbed TraqPak FBO, the new product merges real-time flight activity data from the company’s FlightView product, which shows all IFR flights in the U.S., and owner/operator data from JetNet.
Boston-based RLM Software previewed a version of its FlightView flight-tracking software used by operations professionals at corporate aviation departments and charter airlines that allows users to tag specific aircraft to be monitored.
Kristi Ivey is the flight operations supervisor at the Home Depot Aviation Department at Fulton County Airport in Atlanta. She is also a licensed dispatcher. Working for her are two schedulers and four administrators. She is also the vice chair of the NBAA schedulers & dispatchers committee.
“We take care of everything, and then we put out the fires,” said Ivey, who has been in the Home Depot flight department for six years.
Boston-based FlightView Software has released a flight-tracking product that instantly notifies users of changes in flight operations such as delays, diversions or early arrivals.
An Alerts Manager feature allows the user to send alerts automatically to any Blackberry, mobile phone or e-mail inbox in the world. It is triggered by user-selected specific events such as takeoff, diversion and landing.
