A new 3,600-sq-ft customs-clearance facility has been constructed at Hector International Airport in Fargo, North Dakota, on the north general aviation ramp between two of Fargo Jet Center’s main hangars. It is equipped with the latest technology to expedite U.S. Customs clearances and improve the experience for international passengers. Fargo Jet Center is exhibiting here at EBACE (Stand 456).

Fargo Jet Center, an FBO at North Dakota’s Fargo International Airport, is assisting with a global beef airlift to Astana, Kazakhstan. Starting this month, about two flights will depart for Kazakhstan per week, each loaded with approximately 195 North Dakota cattle. A total of 14 flights are scheduled.

Fargo Jet Center at Hector International Airport in Fargo, N.D., has signed up as an Avfuel-branded fuel dealer. Well known for its weather modification flying and aircraft modification, maintenance and avionics services, Fargo Jet occupies a facility that was extensively renovated last year. Amenities include a pilot suite with snooze room, flight-planning center, movie theater and free coffee, fresh fruit and muffins.

Fargo Jet Center’s major remodeling and expansion is finished. The North Dakota FBO added a dramatic two-story stone fireplace to the lobby fronting a wide expanse of windows facing the ramp. New features also include a pilot’s suite with high-definition television, flight-planning room, quiet room and conference room.

Hawker Beechcraft announced that Fargo, N.D.-based Fargo Jet Center has joined its worldwide network of authorized service centers. Fargo Jet will focus on the Beech Bonanza, Baron and King Air.

First-time exhibitor Fargo Jet Center (Booth No. 1134) is at EBACE to promote its remote location as an ideal tech and customs-clearing stop for overseas travelers flying to the U.S.

With a 9,000-foot runway, Fargo’s Hector International Airport is located nearly in the center of North America, according to Fargo Jet president James Sweeney. “We’re really an international FBO,” he said, “perfect for long-range jets.”

Business aircraft passengers and crews arriving at Hector International Airport (FAR), Fargo, N. D., can clear customs at Fargo Jet Center now that the FBO hosts a 24-hour satellite office of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection service right in its passenger terminal in the airport’s north general aviation area.
