Marshall Aerospace (Hall 4 Stand A12) comes to the Farnborough airshow fresh from winning a £1.52 billion ($2.87 billion) contract to maintain 24 Lockheed C-130K and 25 C-130J Hercules transports flying with Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF).
CMC Electronics (Hall 4 Stand C16a) is showing off its latest avionics technology here at the Farnborough show, but it is also looking for customers wishing to breathe new life into their older “legacy” airframes.

Almost simultaneously, Airbus Military (Hall 4 Stand A13) is set to complete construction of its final assembly line in Seville, Spain. Final assembly of the first A400M should start during the first quarter of next year.
John Hall is the new president of Indianapolis-based Premier Jet Aviation. He was previously senior v-p of sales and marketing for CitationShares and was a founding member of the Cessna CitationJet division.
Eric Bachelet was named president and CEO of CFM International, the joint Snecma and General Electric company. Bachelet joined Snecma in 1971 and has held various positions with the Safran Group.
