Textron has promoted Scott Donnelly to president, in addition to his COO role. Richard Yates, the company’s senior v-p and controller, has been named acting CFO after the recent departure of executive v-p and CFO Ted French.

BBA Aviation is moving Gary Boekenkamp to its Legacy Products Group. In this new job, Boekenkamp will serve as vice president of marketing, acquisitions and strategic business development. He will be responsible for strategic planning, looking for new opportunities and acquisitions. The Legacy Products Group licenses mature OEM parts from manufacturers, assuming responsibility for production quality and aftermarket support.
Michael Scheeringa, former CEO of Flight Options, is joining Signature Flight Support as president and COO. He will also join the executive committee at Signature parent company BBA Aviation. Bruce Van Allen, Signature’s former president, is the new group marketing director at BBA Aviation, and will remain a member of the company’s executive committee.
Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company, has moved its Phoenix regional turbine center from Scottsdale Airpark to a new facility next to Deer Valley Airport. At 7,500 sq ft, the new facility is twice the size of the Deer Valley building.

The Signature Flight Support FBO network grew to 23 locations in Europe following the company’s acquisition of Southern Aero Services, parent of the Interflight Executive Aircraft Services FBO at London Gatwick Airport. Signature now has FBOs at the three major London airports–Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton.
“The rotorcraft segment is a strategic focus for BBA Aviation,” said Nandu Madireddi, senior vice president of BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO). “Speed and flexibility are the keys to success in serving this localized and fragmented market. We intend to leverage our multiple locations and expand this program globally.”
