Montreal-based corporate aircraft service provider Execaire (Booth No. N915) announced here at NBAA 2013 the completion of a VIP lounge at its flagship facility at Toronto’s Lester Pearson International Airport (CYYZ).
Moscow-based shared-use program Jet Travel Club (JTC) officially started operations last week. JTC members can make non-commercial flights on the club’s two CitationJets and two Hawkers and use an area in the VIP terminal at Moscow-Domodedovo Airport. Membership is not limited to Russian nationals; foreign citizens can buy a JTC card for access to the club’s Russian-registered business jets.
Alaeddin Construction Co. is implementing the third phase of construction of a new VIP terminal for Jordanian Private Jets Services (JP Jets) at Aqaba's King Hussein International Airport, the first privately owned terminal for business aviation in the Middle East. The new terminal will include a VIP lounge and eight executive and crew rest rooms, along with an expansive apron.
Signature Flight Support completed a major renovation of its London Gatwick FBO, enhancing the facility with modern décor featuring warm solid woods, new window treatments, furnishings, restrooms, a kitchen, two VIP lounges and a crew lounge with business center.
It looks like the VIP lounge at a top-flight FBO, but the new facility established in Terminal B by Jet Aviation in Zurich, Switzerland, is for business-class airline passengers. Further blurring the lines between airline and business aviation, the Jet Aviation lounge features telephones, fax machines, Internet access and photocopy service.
