Pentagon 2000 Software is on hand here in Las Vegas (Booth No. C9426) to demonstrate its “enterprise resource planning” software for the aerospace industry. “At this year’s exhibits, we [are] fully staffed to meet with both existing customers and new prospects,” company president Gabriel Mofaz, told AIN. “We [are] showing the full set of Pentagon 2000SQL system capabilities, and we have some new e-commerce and mobile applications that will be attractive to attendees.”
Online charter portal Avinode (Booth No. 2120) has introduced an improved search engine to allow operators to generate price quotes more accurately and quickly. With new pricing and aircraft performance profiles built into the company’s Marketplace software, operators can run multiple pricing profiles for each aircraft by selecting variable factors specific to a charter request.
Pentagon 2000 Software, Inc. has introduced Pentagon 2000SQL/Mobil enterprise software for use by parts distributors, repair stations and others.
Continuum Applied Technology has released Version 8.5 of its Corridor aviation service software. New features include third-party compliance integration capability (aircraft records), flight operations integration capability, vendor invoice management tools, rotable management accounting updates, warehouse bin validation functionality and time tracking enhancements, among others.
One of the major irritants with software is that few maintenance programs interact with one another. Users might have to log maintenance with one software program and manipulate parts inventory and ordering with another, while keeping track of labor management with a third. But this is about to change.
