Operators of Gulfstreams based or traveling in Europe will benefit from augmented support capability. Gulfstream has moved more parts into the region, bringing the total value to $125 million. Most of Gulfstream’s Europe-based parts and materials–nearly $80 million worth–are located in Madrid at Corjet Maintenance’s warehouse at Barajas Airport. Gulfstream’s Luton and Madrid facilities can ship parts anywhere in Europe or the Middle East within 24 hours and offer a 24-hour call-in number for customers who need parts support.

Completions and refurbishment provider 328 Support has delivered three aircraft to Nigeria this spring. The company provided SkyBird Air with a total of three Dornier 328DBJs, the last one being delivered in April.

The 328DBJ has long-range tanks for a range, with four passengers, of just under 2,000 nm. The cabin, done by Robin Dunlop of CTM design, is in neutral tones complemented by red seat belts, which is consistent with the SkyBird Air brand. Decorative veneers,a full HD entertainment system, and a satcom Wi-Fi system complete the retrofit.

CAE will offer maintenance training, including EASy II, on the Dassault Falcon 2000LXS and 2000S. The training is supplemental to initial Dassault Falcon 2000 EX EASy certification and the curriculum includes additional model-specific content.

Maintenance training on these aircraft complements CAE’s EASy II pilot training offering, which was recently qualified to Level D, making CAE the first training provider to deliver training with the latest EASy II avionics for the 7X and 2000 EASy series.

Hawker Beechcraft Services facilities are now authorized installation centers for the CenTex Halo 250 gross weight increase modification for the Beechcraft King Air 200. The conversion adds 920 pounds of payload capacity by increasing the mtow of 200-series King Airs to 13,420 pounds from 12,500.

CenTex Aerospace of Waco, Texas, developed the modification and received FAA certification last October.

Heli-Alps, the Sion-based helicopter operator, has signed a deal with Luxembourg’s MRX Systems (Booth 1935) for its Blue Eye eTechLog application and to manage its fleet’s continuous airworthiness activities. Blue Eye is an electronic flight bag system that allows pilots to fill out flight information and to report squawks and discrepancies. For ground techniciansx, the system can be used to sign off certificates of release to service.

Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace has acquired AirLiance Materials from Lufthansa Technik. Under the terms of the deal, AirLiance’s current CEO, Roscoe Musselwhite, will become president and CEO of Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace and a member of Kellstrom’s board of directors. His initial responsibility will be to integrate the two commercial operations into a single, integrated organization.
