Gulfstream IV, Bucharest, Romania, Dec. 6, 2004–GIV N478GS, operated by Centurion Aviation Services, was substantially damaged during landing rollout on Runway 7 at the Baneasa Airport in Bucharest. A portion of the runway that the airplane struck was under construction.

Bell 206L-1 LongRanger, Patterson, La., Dec. 9, 2004–Bell LongRanger N5007F was substantially damaged during a forced landing following a loss of engine power. The sole-occupant commercial pilot was not injured.

Embraer EMB-110-P1, Swanzey, N.H., Jan. 13, 2005–At about 10:15 p.m., AirNow’s Embraer N49BA was destroyed while landing at Dillant Hopkins Airport (EEN), near Keene, N.H. The airplane came to rest inverted on Runway 2, about 90 feet from the approach end of the runway. The ATP pilot was killed.

Cessna 551 Citation II, Ainsworth, Neb., Jan. 1, 2005–Citation N35403 crashed while attempting to land at Ainsworth Municipal Airport in IMC. The instrument-rated private pilot and five passengers were not seriously injured but the Citation was substantially damaged.
