To serve a growing base of international customers, Hawker Beechcraft continues to expand its global parts support network with new stocking locations as well as increased inventory, Rob Hood, general manager of inventory logistics and global distribution, told AIN. Current HB parts distribution locations include Dallas and London, with inventory stocking locations in Dubai and Singapore. HB has partnered with DB Schenker Logistics to provide international integrated logistics to manage and maintain the warehouses at the international locations. Schenker Logistics has nearly 88,000 employees in 130 countries. According to Hood, the current HB value of international inventory across all Hawker Beechcraft models is approximately $16 million, with a projected annual growth of $5 million to $6 million; weekly replenishment shipments are averaging $500,000 to $1 million. “Hawker Beechcraft is committed to providing genuine, high-quality Hawker Beechcraft parts to improve aircraft uptime, lower operating costs and enhance customer support for owners and operators in these expanding markets,” he said.
