Hubstart Paris Region (Booth 5525), an alliance of organizations with the goal of promoting economic development of the Greater Roissy area encompassing the Paris-Le Bourget and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airports, is promoting the advantages of Le Bourget, in particular, as “Europe’s leading business-aviation hub.” The group is also emphasizing two lesser-known Paris airports, namely Pontoise-Cormeilles-en-Vexin and Melun-Villaroche, which it considers “key sites in Europe for business growth and economic development.”

Dassault’s Falcon 5X program is progressing on time for a maiden flight in the first half of 2015. Late in April, AIN was invited to see the first wing at Dassault’s Bordeaux Martignas factory and the first complete fuselage at the manufacturer’s Biarritz production facility. The aircraft will complete assembly and begin ground tests this summer.
The Hubstart Paris alliance (Booth 1565) is here at EBACE 2013 promoting the Greater Roissy region, with opportunities for business aviation players to get established in this area north of Paris, near Charles de Gaulle airport. Anchored by the Paris Le Bourget platform, the region also comprises Pontoise Cormeilles-en-Vexin and Melun Villaroche airports.
