A new executive aircraft handling operation was launched last month at the London-area Royal Air Force Northolt base (EGWU). Premier Service is being offered through the new Northolt Handling joint venture between Regional Airports Ltd., which owns Biggin Hill (EGKB) and Southend (EGMC) airports, and Serco, which operates a line-maintenance facility at the airfield.

New operators of Learjets now receive, at no cost, an initial subscription to MedLink aviation medical-support services from Phoenix-based MedAire. The services are already standard onboard Bombardier Global Express and Challenger business jets. With MedLink, crewmembers can consult directly with board-certified emergency physicians for advice on managing medical incidents that occur during flight.
The FAA is attributing better planning between major airlines and ATC for reducing delays nearly 12 percent since the implementation of Free Flight Phase 1. The trials include a process called collaborative decision-making (CDM), whereby airlines and ATC continuously share planning information to streamline the flow of traffic in and out of major hub airports.
Yuma (Ariz.) International Airport will soon have a new FBO competing for

The new section contains general and country-specific travel tips for female travelers, such as dress codes, behavior expectations and special restrictions.
The FAA’s Airport/Facility Directory now includes a new section that contains taxi diagram charts for selected FAR Part 139 airports. The new section was added in support of the agency’s program to reduce runway incursions. The diagrams are the same full-page charts that are published in IFR terminal procedures publications and are in addition to the VFR sketches already added to the directory.
