Rotorcraft Services Group (RSG) is rebranding subsidiaries Texas Aviation Services and Integrated Flight Systems as RSG Aviation and RSG Products, respectively. The Fort Worth-based holding company acquired both in 2007. “We set up RSG in 2007 with the intent to acquire companies operating in the rotorcraft industry,” Ed Bolden, the company’s president, told AIN.

Goodrich has acquired the assets and unspecified liabilities of DeCrane Aerospace Cabin Management for a reported $280 million. According to a statement issued by DeCrane in August the company also signed an agreement with a substantial majority of its lenders and stockholders to realign the capital structure of PATS following completion of the sale, which at the time was pending federal approval.

The U.S. Air Force has selected Belac to provide turbine blades for the high-pressure turbine (HPT) first stage in F108 (CFM56-3) engines that power KC-135 tankers. Piper Aircraft has chosen Millennium Concepts of Wichita to provide the passenger and crew seats for the PiperJet single-engine very light jet. According to Kevin Reifschneider, Millennium Concepts’ president and managing director, “We have an extensive cabinet shop where we manufacture, certify and install VIP interior furniture for general aviation through wide-body aircraft.

Raisbeck Engineering of Seattle, Wash., today named Mike McConnell president. James Raisbeck, the company’s founder, remains as chairman and CEO. Immediately before joining Raisbeck, McConnell spent seven years with Eclipse Aviation, where he was president and general manager of the company’s customer division.
