Air Works India, an MRO based in Mumbai, was named today at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (Ebace) in Geneva as an authorized service center (ASC) by Dassault Falcon. Initially it will serve as a line service center offering 24-hour troubleshooting, line maintenance and inspections, up to 2B, for the Falcon 900EX and 900EASy series.

Bombardier has designated two new AOG and line maintenance facilities (LMF) in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region. Arab Wings of Amman, Jordan, is now an AOG LMF for the Challenger 604 and 605. Arab Wings began operations in 1975 and offers charter, aircraft management, handling, dispatch and maintenance service. It is located on Jordan’s Amman Civil Airport.

Cessna Aircraft is increasing the number of parts stocked at its European distribution facility in Amsterdam. It shares the facility with Textron sister company Bell. Brad Thress, Cessna senior vice president for customer service, said the company plans to increase part numbers available at the Amsterdam Schiphol facility this year from 3,500 to more than 10,000.

Embraer has appointed two new regional customer support and services managers. They are Mathieu Faenne, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Pedro Paiva, based in London, UK. As the company expands its authorized service center (ASC) network in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (the EMEA region), several new appointments have been made.
