Relativity Capital is acquiring Evergreen Maintenance Center (EMC) from Evergreen International Aviation. Relativity Capital provides private equity capital to companies throughout all stages of the business cycle. Based in Arizona, EMC is the largest aircraft storage and maintenance facility in the world, with 20 million square feet of ramp and storage area capable of accommodating more than 400 aircraft.
Business Jet Access (BJA) recently celebrated the dedication of its Dallas Love Field facility. The new 50,000-sq-ft facility incorporates two large hangar bays and a main office terminal building. The MRO moved from a 20,000-sq-ft facility across the airport. BJA had formerly occupied hangar and office space co-located with its sister company, Business Jet Center, on the East side of the airport.
Honeywell’s Mechanical Protection Plan (MPP), an extended repair and replacement program, is expected to be available starting the third quarter of this year. Designed to avoid downtime while driving predictable and manageable maintenance costs, the program will cover environmental and cabin pressure control systems on select Gulfstream and Pilatus models.
GE Aviation’s M601E-11A engines are now powering Anchorage, Alaska-based AeroMetric’s King Air E-90. The upgrade is the first done by Smyrna Air Center of Smyrna, Tenn. The Power 90 program is designed for King Air 90 aircraft and replaces the installed engines with 705-shp M601E-11A engines.
