James Hoblyn, president of Bombardier customer services and specialized and amphibious aircraft, died while jogging on Sunday, July 3. He was 46. “James’s leadership and enthusiasm in supporting and driving improvements across our business and the broader aerospace community will be greatly missed by all of us at Bombardier,” the company said in a statement.

After years with no factory-owned service center in the Northeast U.S., Hawker Beechcraft (HBC) has finalized an agreement to open a facility at New Castle Airport, in Wilmington, Del. HBC (formerly Raytheon Aircraft) used to have a Northeast facility at Atlantic City, which opened in 1999 and was sold in mid-2006.
