Million Air 4350

At the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Antonio, Texas, Million Air Dallas said it is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first of two Gulfstream G650’s on its charter certificate. Expected in March, the ultra-long range twinjet will be based at “4350,” the FBO’s new exclusive terminal for Million Air Dallas-based aircraft owners and charter clients that opened last month at Addison Airport.

Projected onto the company’s existing online chart viewer, the free directory seamlessly integrates into the mapping interface and displays real-time fuel prices on the charts in relevant currencies and units of measure.

Aviation services provider Jetex is attending the annual NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference this week in San Antonio, Texas, along with the UK’s London Oxford Airport to announce that Jetex has been selected as the airport’s preferred flight-planning partner. Next month, the Dubai-based company will open a new flight-planning lounge in the airport’s Oxfordjet FBO.

London Stansted Airport now has a fifth FBO with the opening this month of the new Fayair operation. The 35,747-sq-ft facility is the result of a $19.2 million investment by Mohamed Al Fayed, former owner of the Harrods Aviation FBO immediately opposite the new Fayair building.

According to the dedicated business aviation gateway’s owner and operator TAG Aviation, traffic increased significantly during 2012, and not just because of the biennial Farnborough International airshow in July and last summer’s London Olympic Games.

Rockwell Collins introduced new enhancements to its Flight Manager web-based application today at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The changes to the program, which is part of the Iowa-based company’s Ascend flight information solutions, include dynamic graphical flight tracking, and an electronic advance passenger information system (APIS) reporting tool for Part 91 operators.

TAC Air lobby

FBO chain operator TAC Air last week completed an extensive renovation to its facility at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Neb. Interior improvements included a new ceiling, wall and floor coverings; a refinished lobby with new furniture throughout the facility; remodeled restrooms; a modernized conference room; remodeled pilot lounge with HDTV and work stations; enhanced WiFi connections; and an upgraded weather/flight planning room.

Fuel price monitoring software provider and marketplace Fuelerlinx has added new automated invoice reconciliation (AIR) functionality to its subscription-based product, it announced this week at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Antonio, Texas. According to the company, its software now has the capability to automatically cross-reference fuel transactions against vendor billing, thereby simplifying the task for accounting departments.
