Not a word. The company trusts us to do the best job possible while minimizing expenses as much as practical.
We were told we had to cut a specific dollar amount or percentage of our budget but how we did it was left up to us.
It was suggested that some types of maintenance issues could be safely deferred to conserve funds.
It was suggested some types of maintenance could be eliminated even though it was in contradiction to regulations.
We were given specific orders to not do some aspect(s) of maintenance with the knowledge we would be violating regulations.
