Air BP Launches New Rewards Program at NBAA; Deer Jet Signs Up in Asia
Air BP has launched the first direct cash-back reward card for the general aviation market. The Sterling Reward Prepaid Visa card will enable the fuel provider’s Sterling Card holders to earn money back on fuel purchases. The company is rolling out the program first for U.S. customers who can apply online. Customers who receive the card will receive one U.S. cent deposited back into the card for each gallon of fuel purchased from nearly any location that accepts the Sterling card worldwide.
Air BP (Booth No. C8817) will be offering increased rewards for cardholders during certain promotional events at locations around the world. In honor of the program launch, participants who buy fuel at London Biggin Hill Airport between now and the end of March 2014 will receive 10 cents per gallon deposited to their Sterling Reward Visa card. “We appreciate that customers have a choice of fuel providers and wanted to show our appreciation to our Sterling Card holders who remain loyal to Air BP,” said Miguel Moreno, Air BP’s general manager. “We anticipate that the exciting new offering will be welcomed by our existing Sterling Card holders, and will attract new customers to Air BP.”
Over the next year, the company will gradually expand the cash back program to embrace its customers throughout the world.
The company also announced that Beijing-based Deer Jet has signed on to the Sterling Card program, marking Air BP’s first major card client in Asia. The company operates a mixed fleet of 62 business aircraft ranging from the Hawker 800XPs and Gulfstreams to bizliners such as the BBJ and ACJ.
