Charleston S.C.-based Advanced Aircrew Academy now offers two international procedures training options as well as a new OSHA training course for aircraft maintenance technicians and pilots. International procedures training can be accessed through the company’s online distance-learning system or in classroom sessions conducted at the customer’s facility. Training modules can be tailored to the requirements of each operator’s local international procedures manual, ops specs or letters of authorization. The OSHA online course satisfies IS-BAO Chapter 13 requirement for occupational health and safety. Some course topics include aircraft fueling, blood-born pathogens, hazard communication and electrostatic discharge and lockout.
