CharterMatrix (Booth No. 2791) is rolling out Airplanemanager.com, its Web-based aircraft scheduling and quoting system, here at the NBAA Convention. Terry Cooper, president of Huntington Beach, Calif.-based CharterMatrix, says the system has been used in beta test by several companies during the past year.

“It’s what they use on a daily basis for all operational and scheduling aspects of the business,” Cooper said. “We are now finally at a point to launch this industry wide.”
The software connects all aspects of a charter operation, including quotes, fuel and FBO selections and is simple to integrate in an existing operation, requiring about one to three hours to set up, depending on the size of the company. Video demos supplied by CharterMatrix lower the learning curve.

Charter operator Starjet of Marina Del Rey, Calif., has been using Airplanemanager.com for about a year. “We are very happy with our experience,” said Peku Karu, Starjet’s director of operations. “The electronic schedule boards, along with all the additional functions, have far surpassed our expectations in ease of operation, efficiency and functionality. It has been the hands-down best alternative for our needs when comparing to the available alternatives.”

In preparation for the rollout, several new updates have been added to Airplanemanager.com. A “live” fuel-pricing system allows a member company to ask for fuel pricing from FBOs or contract fuel providers. And a new TSA “No Fly” checking system auto-checks a company’s passenger list against the current TSA No Fly list.

Airplanemanager.com costs $35 per month per registered aircraft or $250 monthly for unlimited use.
