Northstar Is Now Mint Turbines

Northstar Aerospace Turbine Engine Service Group has a new name: Mint Turbines. Operations and personnel of the turbine engine repair and overhaul facility in Stroud, Okla., remain as before privately owned Mint Turbines acquired Northstar on May 27. Northstar specializes in maintenance, repair and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A and PT6T turbine engines. Mint Turbines (Booth No. 2032) is composed of Mint International, headed by Richard McConn, president and CEO; and Sigma Federal, a private equity group. Both companies are headquartered in McLean, Va.
