Bombardier To Set Up Shop at London Biggin Hill
Slated to begin operations by year-end, the 33,000-sq-ft facility will offer tip-to-tail maintenance for Learjets, Challengers and Globals.
Bombardier's UK service center will occupy a former Rizon Jet hangar at London Biggin Hill Airport.

Bombardier will establish a fully owned heavy maintenance service center in a former Rizon Jet hangar at London Biggin Hill Airport, the company announced today. Set to begin operations by this year's fourth quarter, the facility will have 32,991 sq ft (3,065 sq m) of space, and will be equipped to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as modifications, avionics installations and AOG support for Learjets, Challengers and Globals. The location will also boost parts availability for Bombardier’s European fleet.

"Enhancing our service and support in the UK is a top priority, as our installed aircraft base in the region is significant and growing,” said Andy Nureddin, Bombardier Business Aircraft’s vice president and general manager for customer services. “This expansion establishes our presence in the London area, providing our customers with greater flexibility, industry-leading maintenance support and access to our entire network and our large inventory of parts available in the region."

The facility will be Bombardier's eighth company-owned service center, part of a network of nearly 50 authorized service facilities worldwide.
