Bombardier Aerospace confirmed in late September that Luxair placed the firm order for four Q400s announced on August 16. The transaction also included options on another four of the big turboprops.

Bombardier places the value of the order at $126 million, based on list prices. Luxair placed a firm order for three Q400s in 2006, before the introduction of product enhancements that earned it the “NextGen” designation. It placed subsequent orders for two more Q400s, the last of which it accepted in 2010.
