NBAA, AOPA File To Stop Barr Changes

On June 22 NBAA and AOPA filed a formal notice of appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to block the DOT from “dismantling the Block Aircraft Registration Request (Barr) program.” They also established a fund to support the legal fight. The notice will be followed by a motion to prevent the DOT from making any changes to Barr while the court considers the appeal. The Experimental Aircraft
Association plans to support the legal challenge.
